Reporting on water issues can be complex and involve many different points of view. GWP's 2009-2013 strategy recognises the importance of advocacy and communications in placing water issues at the top of the development agenda.

Each region of the world faces different problems, from complex  implementation issues to natural disasters and how these affect water sustainability and IWRM planning. Each GWP Regional Water Partnership has the capacity to assist communcations professionals to understand an integrated approach to water sustainability.
