Botswana is a landlocked state, bordered by Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Most of the population is centered in the eastern part of the country. The climate is semiarid with warm winters and hot summers. In terms of natural resources, Botswana is rich in diamonds, copper, nickel, coal, iron ore and silver.
