Situated on the coast by the North Atlantic Ocean, Guinea is bordering Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Senegal and Sierra Leone. Climatically, it is generally hot and humid; monsoonal-type rainy season (June to November); dry season (December to May). Among other natural resources, Guinea is rich in bauxite, iron ore, diamonds and gold.
