The case study presents lessons learned from implementation of a project in "green belt" connecting highly valuable natural and cultural landscapes along Mura, Drava and Danube Rivers in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Serbia.
GWP Lithuania and GWP Poland compiled joint GIS maps, developed common databases and strengthened professional links between the water management and GIS experts of neighboring countries of Belarus, Lithuania, Kaliningrad and Poland.
