Ecosystem Management and River Restoration seminar is organised by the Slovak Technical University, the Department of Ecology, Faculty of Natural Sciences at Comenius University, GWP Slovakia, and the Slovak Limnological Society.
It will bring together water engineers and natural science researchers to discuss the imperative importance of river restoration. Reintroducing natural processes can reshape rivers to provide diversity of habitats required for a healthy river ecosystem. It can also enhance the resilience to floods and climate change impacts.
