On December 6 to 9, 2016, the newly appointed GWP Steering Committee (SC) member proposed by GWP China Region, Mdm. Qiuchi Shi, Deputy Director General, Department of Water Resources Management, the Ministry of Water Resources of China, attended the Steering Committee Meeting in Stockholm.
Mdm. Shi took up her seat for a term of 3 years as from December 2016 attending the SC Meeting. While joining the discussions, she and other members also met for the first time with Dr. Sanjaasuren as the Chair of GWP after she was appointed in May 2016.
