The participants highly appreciated the participation of the Guinea Country Water Partnership. The chair, El Hadj Mamadou Alpha HANN took this opportunity to inform widely on the renewal of the CWP bodies and on the ambitions of the institution for the coming years. The Executive Secretary reaffirmed CWP’s commitment to participate fully in the development of the water sector and to play its part in the IWRM process in Guinea.
In addition to the work, they established contacts with IUCN representatives, Pr. Aboubacar AWAISS and Mr. Maxime SOMDA, project/ programme leaders, NGO chairpersons, representatives of ministerial departments, the IUCN Focal Point in Guinea, and Mr. Ousseini Maigana of UNICEF.
