The Steering Committee also provides fiduciary and management oversight of the GWPO, holding the Secretariat, the Technical Committee and the network to account and providing assurances to financial Partners. The Steering Committee is the 'strategy hub', and taps into the knowledge that exists across the network as much as possible in order to make effective, strategic and legitimate decisions about the GWPO. The membership and nominations process for the SC will evolve as it works to meet the challenges of the new strategy period.
