The programme runs for 5 years with an estimated cost of 12.7 million euro.
The programme runs from May 2011 to April 2016. The total budget is estimated at 12.7 million euros, of which the funding is covered by GWP's core donors and additional donations by a number of bilateral agencies.
The project is now in its inception phase (July-December 2011). All WACDEP partners met in Tunis at the end of May, to decide on the workplan and budget distribution for the inception phase. The partners also confirmed the 8 countries and 5 transboundary basins/aquifers where WACDEP will take a start during the inception phase.
