Flood Management in Dhaka

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is a city that faces a number of environmental challenges such as urban and river flooding, water logging, earthquakes, fire hazards, traffic congestion and various anthropogenic problems.

GWP Bangladesh has conducted a project that helps to identify weaknesses in existing flood management systems and to develop a flood risk management framework which has now been accepted by the Government.
