Cameroon IWRM Reports

In order to achieve the Millennium Development Goals and implement the recommendations of the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) held in Johannesburg in 2002, the Cameroonian Government requested the support of GWP in the 2000s to implement Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the country towards sustainable development.

Within the context of the Partnership for Africa's Water Development (PAWD) programme and under the leadership of the Ministry of Water and Energy (MINEE), GWP Cameroon thus supported the elaboration of a roadmap towards IWRM and carried out a baseline study of the water sector in Cameroon. The 2005 IWRM roadmap and 2009 baseline study, with its four thematic reports, are important reference documents and are made available here  :
