- For facilitators of, and those interested in, national SDG 6.5.1 reporting processes
- For SDG 6.5.1 focal points within national governments
- For representatives of GWP, Cap-Net and UNEP willing and able to support the process.
Why is it important?
It will provide a common understanding of what SDG 6.5.1 is, how the survey instrument measures it and how it is calculated, standardising the reporting approach while also improving quality of reporting in the countries which the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme is assisting around the world.
The overall goal of this training is to generate a deeper and shared understanding of the SDG 6.5.1 survey instrument and how it is calculated among those who will be facilitating the consultation and reporting process around IWRM.
Estimated between 4 and 6 hours, depending on whether optional readings and discussion sections are used or not.
Course approval criteria
60% correct responses on average between the different sections.
At the end of each module there will be a discussion section. Participating in these discussions is entirely optional, but we encourage participants to share their opinions, questions, doubts or best practices for everybody’s benefit. There is a discussion question for guidance, but participants are welcome to ask their own question or start another conversation on the topic through the discussion feature.
