The world’s most significant annual summit on climate change, COP26, came to an end on 12 November after two weeks of discussions and meetings to tackle some of the globe’s most pressing problems.

The importance of collaboration to tackle the impacts of climate change as well as the role of technology in optimising the use of natural resources was acknowledged by all during the 1st Multistakeholder Meeting of the ACCISI-GEM project implemented in the Governorate of Bizerte, by the Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean in partnership with local and national authorities.
As part of the implementation of the pilot initiatives of the Water Development and Management Plan (SAGE) of the Niger portion of Mékrou, the Mekrou phase 2 Niger project financed by the European Union has rehabilitated the Belandè multi-village mini drinking water supply system with an extension of the standpipes.
