Partners Meeting: Global Framework on Water Scarcity in Agriculture

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) together with a broad range of partners - including GWP - launched the Global Framework for Action to Cope with Water Scarcity in Agriculture in the Context of Climate Change during the Agriculture Action Day of COP22 in Marrakech, Morocco. In April the Partners meet in Rome.

Agriculture is both a cause and a casualty of water scarcity, but it also has the greatest potential to contribute to the more efficient and sustainable management of water resources. Water scarcity, sustainable agriculture and food security are intrinsically interrelated and should be addressed holistically.

On 19-20 April the Partners of this Global Framework meet at FAO HQ in Rome, Italy.  Details about the event, and  background information on FAO's website.
