Goal of the Integrated Drought Management Programme is to increase the capacity and ability in the Central and Eastern European countries. By enhancing resilience to drought, it will be easier to adapt to climate variability and change.
The case study presents lessons learned from implementation of a project in "green belt" connecting highly valuable natural and cultural landscapes along Mura, Drava and Danube Rivers in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Serbia.
GWP Lithuania and Poland take part in a consortium led by Stockholm International Water Institute to support sustainable management of rivers shared by countries in the Eastern Baltic's - Kaliningrad Oblast, Lithuania and Poland.
