Bled Water Festival 2019

Bled Water Festival will take place on 13-14 June 2019 at lake Bled in Slovenia.

The main purpose of the festival is to raise public awareness about water issues in Slovenia, as well as in other parts of the world, provide solutions and work on its development. 

For this purpose, BWF partnered with ministries for environment from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia, and started with first regional awarding (2017): responsible towards water in several categories (corporate – all sizes, national projects, and individual projects).

Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe will be present in the following sessions:

PANEL: Innovative water resource conservation approaches (experience from EU projects)

Water resources are a key part of potable water supply and the beginning of the urban water cycle. And protecting and safeguarding water resources in light of climate changes is a challenge involving the wider region. The innovative solutions of these challenges are also supported by the EU, which develops approaches for preserving and protecting potable water resources through various projects.

The following projects will be presented: AMIIGA, DriDanube, EdiCitNet, FRAMWAT, CAMARO-D, PROLINE-CE
