Kazakh-German University in Almaty and the Central Asian Journal of Water Research (CAJWR) is organising the third online conference “Women and Disaster Risk Reduction”, which will take place on May 16, 2020, from 15:00 to 17:00 (UTC+6).
This online conference is the second conference in a series of similar events dedicated to the gender aspects of water management in Central Asia and Afghanistan, which are held from November 2019 to May 2020.
The purpose of the events is to provide opportunities for young scientists, researchers, international and regional experts, students, etc. to discuss key gender issues in the field of water resources and to promote the development of local community capacities.
Participation in the conference is free. Registration until May 10, 2020.
