More than 600 students from 38 schools in 16 Cycladic and Dodecanese islands submitted at total of 60 team art pieces, featuring the contribution of rainwater harvesting to the local water budget and raising awareness on water efficiency. Through their works, they are sending their own message on World Water Day 2014 (March 22) for local water security.
The winners for the 3 categories are:
- Drawing: 1st & 2nd Award: Primary School Apollon Rhodes, 3rd Award: 3rd Primary School Rhodes
- Poster: 1st Award: Gymnasium Antiparos; 2nd Award: Gymnasium Kimolos; 3rd Award: 1st Gymnasium Naxos
- Video: 1st Award: 2nd Gymnasium Naxos; 2nd Award: School for Disabled Students Rhodes, 3rd Award: Embirikio Gymnasium Andros
An exhibition and an award ceremony for the winning teams in Athens will follow later in the year.
