Action 11 - Design and develop a Diploma Course on Effective Operation of Basin Committees in Panama with a gender approach

In 2021, under the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and with the technical and financial support of GWP Central America, a number of consultation workshops were organised with the participation of stakeholders from the public sector, civil society, the private sector, academia, international cooperation and water sector authorities. As a result, the IWRM Action Plan (PAGIRH2022-2026 was developed with the objective to implement concrete actions for advancing in IWRM in Panama. The following action was defined as part of that process and identified as a priority action included in the action plan. 

The purpose of this action is to design a Diploma Course on the Effective Operation of Basin Committees in Panama, including a gender prospective.
