The price will reward the best news story and audio (radio) programme, on the theme "Water, an endangered resource, what solutions for the future?"
The best print story (newspaper and online) and best radio programme selected by a jury of professionals from GWP / WA and IUCN -PACO, will be awarded prizes and invited to take part into the 7th World Water Forum to take place from 12 to 17 April 2015 in South Korea.
To participate you must be an environmental journalist from a West African country, have made productions on water and environment related issues, for a media organization. All candidates should send their participation file by email to sidi.coulibaly@gwpao.org and marcello.rocca@iucn.org before 28th February 2015. Competing stories and programmes must have been published or broadcast in the media (newspaper, radio and internet) between 1st September 2014 and 28th February 2015.
