The meeting convened CWP coordinators, chairs and members, the GWP-WA Chair and Executive Secretariat. This diverse representation enabled inclusive discussions that reflected the realities and ambitions of member countries.

- The current functioning of CWPs, with inspiring feedback from various countries in the region;
- The positioning of CWPS within regional and continental projects (e.g., CTCN, AU AIP, GCF Readiness);
- Challenges related to resource mobilization and capacity building;
- The new GWP 2026–2030 strategy and the opportunities it presents for CWPs.
These exchanges led to shared insights, the recognition of best practices, and concrete proposals to enhance governance and visibility of CWPs.

- Developing a regional action plan aligned with the GWP 2026–2030 strategy;
- Establishing an annual inter-CWP forum for experience sharing;
- Creating a joint financing mechanism for multi-country projects;
