Call for youth-led project proposals for communicating water in Malta

The regional organization Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP-Med | www.gwpmed.org) and the Energy and Water Agency of Malta (EWA| www.energywateragency.gov.mt) are issuing a call for proposals for college and university students and newly graduates of Art & Design, Media & Communication, Social Sciences and History backgrounds.

The “Non Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) Program in Malta [aka Alter Aqua]” (www.gwpmed.org/NCWR), implemented in the Maltese Islands since 2011 is now its 3rd phase (2019-2020). In the frame of the Programme, GWP-Med and EWA are issuing a Call for proposals for Communication, Marketing and Cultural Projects and Activities related to water in the Maltese Islands.

The call is addressed to university and college studentsnewly graduates and young professionals residing in the Maltese islands, that are invited to submit their project proposal (concept note) for awareness raising about water scarcitywater saving,  water heritage and non-conventional water resources.

Activities take place in the context of the Non Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) Program in Malta, aka Alter Aqua – Phase III, that is designed by GWP-Med, in partnership with the EWA and the Coca-Cola in Malta (General Soft Drinks S.A. and the Coca-Cola Company), and which is supported financially by The Coca-Cola Foundation and co-funded by EWA.
