IWRM ToolBox Teaching Manual Review Workshop in Panama

A call for university professors has been launched to participate in a workshop to review and comment the ToolBox Teaching Manual by professors from Latin America specializing in different aspects of water management who have deep experience both in research and teaching water management. The event will take place in Panama City on July 25-27, 2018.

The IWRM ToolBox Teaching Manual was developed during 2016 thru March 2017 with the help of 5 professors from Latin America, Africa, Central Asia and China to support IWRM teaching in universities, research and training institutions around the world.

Additional input for the manual was sought from a wider group of professors through 2 manual review workshops organised in China and Namibia for Asian and African professors respectively, in 2017. The event in Panama will be the third workshop.

The inputs encompass all key water-related disciplines that will be incorporated for the final version of the Teaching Manual which is expected to be disseminated and used widely by universities across the globe.
