GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

OUR UNIQUE VALUE: GWP mobilises action on the global water crisis through a unique combination of social capital, shared values, credibility within the global water community, bottom-up orientation, and expertise. A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

5th Arab Water Forum

The 5th edition of the Arab Water Forum is convened by the Arab Water Council on 21-23 September in Dubai, under the patronage of the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure and supported by the League of Arab States and the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt, in collaboration with national, regional and international partners.

The Forum provides a platform where Arab water community leaders and key decision-makers thoroughly discuss water challenges that the Arab region is facing, being one of the most water-scarce regions in the world.

It also represents a milestone in the run-up to the World Water Forum (WWF) and a meeting point for stakeholders who wish to be involved in the Arab regional process to reflect the voice of the Arab region in the WWF, promoting priority areas for development in key water-related sectors and mobilising key actions towards achieving water security for the Arab region.
