GWP Central and South America Launch New Study on Gender, Climate Change, and Water

On 12 August, GWP Central and South America will present the analysis “Gender in the political & planning framework on climate change and water in Central & South America”. Join the event and learn more on this issue based on a study conducted in eight selected Latin American countries.

GWP´s Gender Strategy addresses diversity and inclusion, social equity, and women's role in the integrated and sustainable management of water resources. It draws attention to gender differences so that men and women can benefit and contribute equally to our longstanding challenge of improving water security.

To implement the gender approach in actions related to climate change and water management, it is important to know the level of inclusion that gender has at the policy and planning framework level in the countries of the region.
