GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Water Knowledge Europe 2021

Water Knowledge Europe is the specialized brokerage event of Water Europe (WE) that allows participants to network, exchange knowledge and experiences, and to collaborate with key actors from across the water value chain. A digital summer edition of the event takes place on 15 July.

The European Commission (EC) has adopted the work programmes of Horizon Europe for the period 2021-2022, which outline the objectives and specific topic areas that will receive a total of €14.7 billion in funding in this two-year period. These investments will help accelerate the green and digital transitions that see water an essential factor for the achievement of the current priorities of the EC.

The special summer edition of Water Knowledge Europe aims to support and facilitate water stakeholders to participate to the calls of proposals and create winning consortia.

Combining expertise and brainpower, the event features a range of EU officials and experts who present the European Funding Calls, share their insights and provide guidance for the successful preparation of project consortia. Participants have the opportunity to present their project ideas and discuss about them with potential partners in face-to-face meetings.
