GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP and UNICEF Introduce New Publications

GWP and UNICEF have been collaborating since 2014 on the development of a Strategic Framework for WASH Climate Resilient Development with a series of knowledge products to support the implementation of the Framework at regional, national, watershed and local level. Another two publications were launched at Stockholm World Water Week 2017.

The Guidance Note on Risk Assessments for WASH and the Technical Brief Appraising and Prioritising Options for Climate Resilient WASH were introduced during a launch event at the GWP Stockholm World Water Week booth on 29 August.

The practical Guidance Note is currently being introduced at regional level, including 12 countries of West and Central Africa. José Gesti Canuto, Water and Climate Specialist with UNICEF, comments the releases in this video:
