On 22 April 2025, we hosted the second of three expert-led webinars under the project DANURELY-WS: Managing Water Resources in a Changing Climate: Institutions, Challenges, and the Power of Communication, organized by Ludovika University of Public Service (L-UPS).
The session, titled "Managing water resources in a changing climate: Institutions, Challenges, and the Power of Communication," explored how strong institutions and effective communication can support water management in the face of climate change. The agenda featured two insightful presentations:
-
Hungary’s Water Management System – Its Institutional Framework, Challenges, and Functions
-
The Role of Communication in Drought Crisis Management – Shaping Public Perception and Encouraging Action
Watch also the interesting video for the second presentation: The desert where we live
Each presentation was followed by an interactive discussion, allowing participants to ask questions and exchange experiences from different regions.
