The year 2020 was challenging for the whole world. Despite the restrictions and overall uncertainty about the future, GWP CEE managed to achieve many great things. We are now offering you a quick recap of our highlights of 2020.

On 8 December 2020, Professor Janusz Kindler, one of the founders of the GWP CEE, passed away at the age of 86.

The environmental Art competition, “Danube Art Master” is delighted to have received a surprisingly large number of artworks submitted in 2020, despite taking place under truly exceptional circumstances.

Nine partners from six Central European countries, in a framework of the FramWat project, developed a practical guidance for planning Natural (Small) Water Retention Measures (N(S)WRM) in the river basins.

We are inviting all GWP CEE Partners to the Annual Network Meeting of GWP Partners 2020, which takes place online on 21-22 October, under the theme ‘Bringing the Change’. As part of the Network Meeting, the Partners have the opportunity to comment on the GWP in Action 2019 Annual Report and the GWP Annual Financial Report 2019.
