The conference is jointly organised by the Water Research Institute in Slovakia, the Ministry of Environment and other major water reasearch and scientific institutions in Slovakia. There are three main thematic areas:
Integrated river basin management and measures (updated RBMPs and environmental goals of the RBMPs, FRBMPs, technical and green measures)
Hydrological extremes: modelling and forecasting (extreme hydroclimatic phenomena, drought and local floods)
Technical measures and green infrastructure (efficiency and impacts of the risk management of hydorlogical extremes (floods and droughts).
