On 10 September 2019, GWP CEE will welcome a group of 30 Moldovan stakeholders (representatives of municipalities and municipal companies responsible for water management, and local experts) at the Slovak Hydrometeorologic Institute (SHMU). The Moldovan delegation will visit Slovakia to learn about the Slovak system of water management and operation of the waste water treatment systems.
The group comes in the framework of a study visit within a SlovakAid funded project aimed at water and sanitation sector implemented by RDA Senec-Pezinok, and Moldovan partners RDA Centru and Municipality of Straseni. At SHMU, the Moldovan colleagues will have an opportunity to discuss with representatives of SHMU, Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic (MŽP SR), Slovak Environment Agency (SAŽP), Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe (GWPCEE), and SlovakAid.
