The national competition started in January 2013 after long preparatory work with development of an official website www.ifivizdij.hu.
Deadline for registration of individual students or groups up to 3 students is 15 April 2013. Entries will be focused on local, regional, national or global issues with environmental, scientific, social or technological importance.
Those participants who will qualify for the final will be notified by 8 May 2013. The national final is held on 1 June 2013 in Budapest. Winners will be awarded with a trip to the Stockholm World Water Week and Junior Water Prize ceremony between 31 August and 5 September 2013.
GWP Hungary implements the Junior Water Prize with the support of Water for Life Foundation, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, General Electric Water & Process Technologies, Budapest Waterworks and National Water Directorate and Hauraton Hungary.
