Integrated Water Resources Management IWRM is a process which promotes the coordinated development and management of water, land and related resources in order to maximize economic and social welfare in an equitable manner without compromising the sustainability of vital ecosystems and the environment.
The approach and advocacy for IWRM was articulated in GWP Technical Committee Background Paper No. 4 (2000).
The Integrated Water Resources Management ToolBox is managed by the Global Water Partnership. It is a free, online database with a library of background papers, policy briefs, technical briefs and perspective papers as well as case studies and references.
These are all available at GWP ToolBox website for anyone who is interested in implementing better approaches for the management of water or learning more about improving water management at a local, national, regional or global level.
Between February and April 2012, please fill out our questionnaire in order to help us improve the quality and relevance of the knowledge and information available on the GWP ToolBox. It is available in English, Spanish, French and Russian languages.
The survey contains 16 questions and does not take more than 10 minutes of your time.
