After two mandates of two years each, Mr. Antoine Diockel THIAW has passed the chairmanship to Dr. Adrien COLY, lecturer at Saint Louis Gaston Berger University.
The partners of the CWP have also designated as Vice chair of the CWP Mrs. Ndèye Safiétou Diop Ngom, President of the Senegalese Association of the Family Economy (ASEF); as Treasurer, Mrs Maty Ndiaye, Municipal Councillor, Deputy Mayor of Les Parcelles Assainies in Dakar, and Mr Mamour Ngalane of CONGAD (conglomerate of NGO) as the Auditor.
Partners have approved the progress and financial reports presented by the outgoing chair, Mr. Antoine THIAW.
GWP-WA chair and Executive Secretary have both congratulated the new chair and expressed the GWP readiness to support the CWP. They expressed satisfaction and thanks to Antoine Thiaw and his team for the good work leading the Senegalese CWP for the last four years.
