Participants were able to harmonize knowledge and understanding of legal norms related to access and control of water resources, land resources and water and climate related services. The meeting allowed raising participants' awareness of the influence of social norms (practices, attitudes, behaviors, belief systems, etc.) on access to and control of water resources, land resources, and water and climate services.
An emphasis was laid on an approach to improving practices, attitudes, behaviors, social norms, belief systems and regulations to promote gender-transformative water security and climate resilience investments.
About 50 participants took part in the workshop representing the Ministry of Living Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Water and Mines, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Microfinance, the Communes of Tanguieta and Copargo (City Hall officials, local elected officials, producers' associations, women's associations, and youth), local and national NGOs, Youth associations and associations of disabled people.
