The meeting was organized from 03 to 07 July 2017 in Casablanca, Morocco by FAO to assist Member States in achieving and monitoring sustainable development Goals (SDGs) and their indicators.
In the SDG global follow-up process, indicators are monitored across the United Nations system. Indicators 6.4.1: "Rational use of water" and 6.4.2: "Water stress level" are under the responsibility of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
