CWP Mali holds 10th Partners’ meeting to get activities moving

Mali Country Water Partnership (CWP Mali) held its tenth General Assembly of Partners in Bamako on February 10, 2021 bringing together about fifty (50) delegates representing organizations from the public and private sectors, NGOs and Civil Society, donors and the media.

GWP-WA was represented by the regional chair, Prof. Amadou Hama MAÏGA. The meeting was held under the presidency of the Minister of Energy and Water.

The 10th General Assembly was an opportunity for CWP-MALI to hand over to the representative of the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water and to the participants the first Yearbook on Integrated Water Resources Management in Mali. This document contains vital information on water resources management related good practices and actors involved in IWRM in Mali.

According to the CWP Mali Executive Secretary, the 10th ordinary General Assembly of partners of Mali took place in good conditions and allowed to validate documents presented and discussed with the CWP members and partners as well as to enhance good bases for future interventions in the country.
