The meeting was attended by around a hundred participants, and enabled measures, initiatives and strategies to be taken to mobilise resources for better flood management in the countries concerned.
Participants included representatives from ministerial departments, scientific research, universities and civil society.
The Executive Secretary of the Guinea Country Water Partnership PNEGUI, Mr Hafiziou BARRY, took part in the "regional consultation workshop on flood management in the Senegal River Basin".
