The working session with the Executive Secretariat was also attended by Ms Farida KONE, Youth representative at the GWP/WA Steering Committee.
Discussions focused mainly on new avenues of collaboration between GWP/WA and Eau Vive International on:
- Advocacy in relation to IWRM in West Africa. Joint actions will be planned in countries covered both by both organizations;
- Youth initiatives in West Africa which will be studied together starting from drafts of the conceptual notes already developed by each of the partner structures;
- Collaboration for participation in the 8th World Water Forum 2018 in Brazil.
A roadmap will help to refine the actions to be taken jointly.
