Guinea, a new project to mitigate climate change impact kicks-off

The project for the Assessment of Technological Needs (EBT) was officially launched on June 13, 2019 in Conakry by the Chief of Cabinet of the Ministry of Environment in coordination with the National Directorate of Environment through the Project focal point.

The kick-off meeting brought together national stakeholders who identified and prioritized technologies for mitigating and limiting the climate change impacts in the country.

The Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Guinea was represented by its Executive Secretary who is involved in the project implementation as a consultant in charge of adaptation.
