The first phase of the programme is coming to an end and the Chairperson of the Committee (ECOWAS/WRCC) recalled that this fourth and last session was held in a context of the end of the project, and hoped that the members of the SC would take stock of it, analyze in depth the implementation situation of the project and formulate recommendations that would ensure an effective closure of the project and feed into the reflection on the next phase.
The SC recommended to monitor closely activities scheduled in 2018 to ensure timely implementation and facilitate project closure; and that the concept note of the post PAGE phase be shared with the members of the steering committee. Partners were invited to be mobilized to finalize planned activities on time and participate in the capitalization of results to contribute to the formulation process of the post PAGE phase.
