During the workshop, representatives from each country had the opportunity to present their ideas for projects that were amended and deepened with the support of the facilitators and partners present from the GCF Secretariat, GWP, AfDB and GCF Access Entities.
At the end of the workshop, the Africa Project Preparation Partnership for Climate Resilient Water Projects was launched to provide a platform for countries to exchange knowledge and lessons as their experience in preparing, financing, and implementing water projects grows, in particular, in the context of the GCF.
