This was an opportunity to take stock of the first operational year of the new basin organization between Benin and Togo. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic MBA carried out 2/3 of its work plan. Many initiatives are being developed with various partners including GWP-WA on various issues.
The ministers of the Mono basin agreed among other things to start the integration of the Couffo basin into the convention establishing the Mono basin authority, to endorse some of the ongoing processes with partners.
The ministerial council expressed thanks to all partners who are supporting the MBA. GWP-WA has signed a MOU with MBA.
