The chair was briefed on the various activities, in particular the GWP network meeting scheduled for 27 and 28 September 2018, the confirmation of the dates for holding the regional steering committee, namely 17 and 18 October 2018, the meeting of technical and financial partners at sub-regional level in the week of 15 to 20 October, the sub-regional meeting on gender in VBA member countries during 2018, the progress of the review of the project on groundwater governance and the efforts to mobilise financial resources.
At the end of the exchanges, Prof. Maiga congratulated and encouraged GWP-WA for the considerable work and integration into the team of young interns in its vision of promoting youth employability. Finally, he proposed guidelines for the smooth running of the activities undertaken and reaffirmed his support before taking leave of the assistance.
