As expected, the meeting came up to a common understanding on the GWP WA network, work and roles of its organs including the Technical Committee. The participants reflected on the implementation of the GWP-WA 2017 Assembly of Partners’ Meeting main recommendations and the roles of the TC in working together with other organs of the network. An action plan was drawn after a reflection on how to make efficient the support of the TC to the entire network; the aim is to make more relevant GWP work to advancing the development agendas in the region and the countries.
The meeting allowed to design an operational Work Plan for the GWP-WA TC from October 2017 to December 2018. The meeting discussed as well the modalities for the support of the TC members to the network in the region.
