The report has been analyzed by the Project management team which formulated several shortcomings and amendments that are being consolidated before they are sent to the consultant for consideration.
On Thursday, June 24, the Mékrou 2 project manager had a meeting at the FREXUS/NBA project office together with the FREXUS project manager. The meeting reviewed the exchanges that the FREXUS project had with the JRC on the possibility of developing synergies of action between the Mekrou 2 project and FREXUS. During this meeting it was discussed the validation of the study on conflict analysis conducted by the FREXUS project and the status of IWRM bodies in the Niger portion of the Mekrou sub-basin, this study is conducted by the Mekrou 2 Project.
The issue of co-developing the E-NEXUS tool in collaboration with FREXUS was also discussed.
