The objectives of the initiative are:
- Raising awareness of the importance of professional development in relation to groundwater management and professional drilling, among key stakeholders in the water sector and education.
- strengthening the individual and institutional capacity to manage groundwater resources and drilling programmes in low- and middle-income countries.
The parties have agreed to cooperate in supporting the 2022 Groundwater Management online courses. The funding partner will contribute to the financing of the programme.
