From 30 May to 3 June 2022, a meeting was held at the Novela Star Hotel in Lomé (Togo) as the first step in the process of updating Togo's framework law on the environment.

This meeting is part of the review of the framework law to propose drafts of amended or new articles on emerging themes related to the environment. The workshop brought together in a restricted technical group, about fifteen legal experts and environmental technicians under the supervision of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources, Mr. Aoufoh Koffi DIMIZOU, and the Director of the Environment, Mrs. Mery YAOU.
