In the implementation of WACDEP-G, four study missions have been commissioned. Methodological scoping meetings were organized followed by the submission of inception reports by the consultants. The focus areas of the study missions are the following:
Assessing gender gaps and inequalities that limit the participation of women and their organizations in decision-making and choice processes on access and use of water and climate information services in Benin.
Detailed inventory and analysis of gender inequalities in institutional networks and governance processes of access and control of water and climate resources and services in Benin.
Identifying and analyzing institutional norms, systemic barriers, practices and gender power inequalities in investment planning processes for water security and climate resilient development in Benin.
Strengthening the contribution of the private sector to water security and climate resilience in Benin and the Volta Basin.
