Sri Lanka finds it challenging to achieve the overarching goal of the Paris Agreement mainly due to limited financing. The flexible financial solutions offered by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) plays a pivotal role in such instances, for the developing nations to access international climate financing. Yet, Sri Lanka has only one GCF accredited Direct Access Entity (DAE) which further reduces the opportunity to access adequate funding for climate action. The Global Water Partnership South Asia led 2nd Sri Lanka GCF Readiness Project facilitated workshop on Gender Policy Development and Gender Mainstreaming in GCF Activities held targeting pipeline DAEs resulted additional two nominated DAEs successfully submitting their applications to GCF.

"Partnership action for water security and climate resilience of populations and ecosystems in West Africa", this is the title of the document capitalizing eleven case studies by GWP West Africa.

"L'ation partenariale pour la sécurité en eau et la résilience climatique des populations eet des écosystèmes en Afrique de l'Ouest", tel est le titre du document de capitalisation des onze études de cas qui vient d'être publié par GWP Afrique de l'Ouest.

Le programme d'appui à la GIRE de l'ODD 6 a été mis en œuvre au Mali à travers l'initiative intitulée "Appui à la mise en œuvre de la cible 6.5 de l'objectif de développement durable (ODD) 6 sur la gestion de l'eau au Mali". Une action collaborative entre le Partenariat National de l'Eau du Mali (PNE MALI) et le Ministère de l'Energie et de l'Eau à travers la Direction Nationale de l'Hydraulique (DNH).

Le programme d'appui à la GIRE de l'ODD 6 tel que mis en œuvre au Sénégal à travers l'"Initiative d'appui à l'accélération de la mise en œuvre du Plan d'Action de la GIRE - PAGIRE 2018-2030 du Sénégal" par le MINISTÈRE DE L'EAU ET DE L'ASSAINISSEMENT à travers la Direction de la Gestion et de la Planification des Ressources en Eau (DGPRE) en collaboration avec le Partenariat National de l'Eau du Sénégal (PNES).

Le programme de soutien à la GIRE de l'ODD 6, phase 3, a été mis en œuvre au Ghana avec l'initiative intitulée "Soutien à la révision et à la rédaction des plans de gestion intégrée des ressources en eau des bassins de Pra et Tano au Ghana - Mise en œuvre de l'action prioritaire 1.2 du plan d'action GIRE du Ghana". Un travail de collaboration entre le Parenariat National de lEau du Ghana & la Water Resources Commission.

The SDG 6 IWRM support Programme Pase 3 was implemented in Ghana with the initiative called "Supporting Revision and Drafting of the Pra and Tano Basins Integrated Water Resources Management Plans in Ghana – Implementing Priority Action 1.2 of Ghana’s IWRM Action Plan". A collaborative work of Ghana Country Water Partnership & Water Resources Commission.

The SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme as implemented in Senegal through the "Initiative to support the acceleration of the implementation of the IWRM Action Plan - PAGIRE 2018-2030 of Senegal" by the MINISTRY OF WATER AND SANITATION through the Directorate of Water Resources Management and Planning (DGPRE) in collaboration with the Country Water Partnership of Senegal (PNES).

The SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme was implemented in Mali through the initiative calle "SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TARGET 6.5 OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL (SDG) 6 ON WATER MANAGEMENT IN MALI." A collaborative action between the Country Water Partnership of Mali (PNE MALI) and the Ministry of Energy and Water through the National Directorate of Hydraulics (DNH).
